My parents are in the springs and we visit Denver usually once a year! We’d like to end up in Colorado sometime soon! We’re hoping the Air Force sends us there.
Although I did find myself wanting more of a description of that Syrian muhamarra from the Green Zone (which is possibly the best name for a Middle Eastern bar, ever)
Thanks, Andrew! Hah, the muhamarra: the red peppers are perfectly smooth (not sure if they use a pepper paste or roast and blend peppers), the walnuts on top add a nice crunch to balance it, pomegranates molasses drizzle contrasts well with sweetness from the peppers. If you’re in DC ever, go to the Green Zone!!
This made me hungry…Now I’m going to make a dip! Where are you moving?
Colorado! Denver or right outside of it. (Wait are you guys in Colorado??)

Ooo ok. Lemme know when you visit, would love to catch up!!
Love this post, Kara, and the fact that you gave me a shout-out is way down at the bottom of a long list of reasons why.
